Transition

Description

Coming really handy when renovating, theses transition profiles are conceived to realize a slope of 30 degrees between a ceramic surface and another surface of an inferior level by creating a smooth transition. Also ideal for transitions from ceramic tile coverings to finished surface. An angle of 90 degrees at the end of the slope will allow the meeting with a thinner revetment: like a carpet, a wood floor or a vinyl surface.

Color Information

These mouldings are offered in different colors, and in 2 types of finish.

  • Natural aluminum: Natural aluminum has a tendency to become corroded under the effect of humidity and chemical products. That is why you have to evaluate, in a very circumspect way, the place where they will be installed.
  • Anodized aluminum: Anodization can be done in many different colors, and gives aluminum a finish that will protect it against corrosion.
Notice: Please note that the accuracy of the colors displayed on the web site may vary depending on the settings of your monitor. To have a more accurate idea of the exact appearance of the colors, contact a Diaplas’ representative for a sample.

Warning: Whatever kind of finish you might choose, always be aware that abrasives, and the contact with rugged surfaces will damage your trims. When installing, always ensure to immediately wipe away excess of mortar, grout, glues or any other chemical product that could have been in contact with the visible profile surface.
